This Website is dedicated to the hard-working Sons of AMVETS that make District 12 one of the Most Outstanding Sons Organizations in the Country.
We want to keep everyone aware of all the fundraising efforts, events, and progress of our local Squadrons. With cooperation and pulling together, we can benefit our many Veterans' Causes, help boost each other's projects, and promote our common goals. We hope to create camaraderie and an enjoyable atmosphere in our inner Squadron relations.

District 12 Picnic & Meeting
July 21st - Meeting at 11:00
This yearly event is being held at Thornville (Bukeye Lake) Post 51 and is open to all Amvets Member Groups from District 12. Lunch is served at "noon"ish.
The Sons "Swimming and Diving Contest" has been canceled because of the 2024 "Jack Daniels" incident.

When it gets dark are going to sneak over to the VFW and toilet paper their Post while they are out watching the fireworks.
Ohio AMVETS Golf Tournament Post 1928
September 20-21st in Columbus will bring together Veterans, their family, and supporters for two days of Golfing, Comradery, and a years worth of Bragging Rights. Steak Dinner at Post 1928 on Saturday night.
