This Website is dedicated to the hard-working Sons of AMVETS that make District 12 one of the Most Outstanding Sons Organizations in the Country.
We want to keep everyone aware of all the fundraising efforts, events, and progress of our local Squadrons. With cooperation and pulling together, we can benefit our many Veterans' Causes, help boost each other's projects, and promote our common goals. We hope to create camaraderie and an enjoyable atmosphere in our inner Squadron relations.
We as the Sons of AMVETS can make a big difference and possibly save lives by supporting this Foundation. Commander White asks each Squadron to think about our Mission as Sons and put their efforts into this outstanding organization.
Please discuss with your Squad about making a Donation or Fund Raise at your Post. Any efforts and contributions will be appreciated!
Checks can be made to: Ohio Sons of AMVETS Commanders Project.
Mothers and Daughters United Inc. is hosting a special Women Veterans Self-Care Check-In Dinner on November 9th. This event will provide a supportive space for women veterans to connect, recharge, and enjoy dinner, games, and a guest speaker.
Veterans get in free with ID, and non-veterans can attend for $10 at the door. RSVP by October 28 to Jackie Williams at 937-972-9395 or mothersanddaughtersunitedinc@gmail.com.
Let's show our women veterans how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice. Share this event with any women veterans in your life!

The SGT Kevin Lannon Veterans Sanctuary was donated by Vaughn and Linda Richards.
This former schoolhouse was built in the 1930s and served the local community until it was retired in 1964. This facility is located at the intersection of Routes 586 and 79 in the Village of Fallsburg, in rural Licking County, Ohio.
Rehabilitation of this facility to function as a Homeless Veteran Recovery Center will require significant effort by skilled craftsman. We are asking people who support our Veterans to donate some time and talent to make needed repairs.
We are now taking reservations for the 2024 Veterans Day Bus Trip! We will be leaving from Columbus on November 10, stopping on the way at United 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania. We will then, hopefully, spend Veterans Day in Arlington National Cemetery, and then placing wreaths at the WWII Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, and Korean War Memorial. There will be a free day in Washington DC with a night tour for those interested in seeing the memorials at night. It is a one of a kind experience at an unbeatable price.
